A Krakow to Zakopane transfer offers a direct way to travel between Krakow and Poland's winter capital. Zakopane is located around 100 km south of Krakow and the journey usually takes about 2 hours. The town is known as the gateway to the Tatra Mountains, and it attracts visitors throughout the year. The lively Krupówki street is in the town itself, while the trailhead for Morskie Oko lake is a further drive of more than 20 km. YourKrakow provides private door-to-door transport with a fixed vehicle price agreed before booking. There is also space for ski equipment, making the transfer a convenient option for winter trips and mountain stays.

A car for up to three people costs 700 PLN, and a van for four to eight costs 850 PLN. You pay for the vehicle, not per seat, so a group of six shares one price. The driver collects you from your hotel or apartment in Krakow and drops you at the door of your accommodation in Zakopane.
The price is set before you book and nothing is added on the day. Payment goes to the driver at the end, in cash (PLN or EUR) or by card, with no deposit.
About 2 h. The drive is around 100 km, most of it on the Zakopianka road. According to GDDKiA, the national roads authority, it is busier at weekends and on public holidays, and the stretch from Krakow to Myślenice often has queues, so at weekends allow some extra time.
If you fly into Krakow, the driver can wait for you in the arrivals hall with a name sign and go directly to Zakopane. Send us your flight number: we track it and wait if the plane is late. The price for the airport route is fixed before you book.
By public transport the same trip means a FlixBus from the airport, with only a few departures a day (the timetable for 1 December 2026 shows four, taking 2 h 37 min to 3 h 5 min), or the train into Krakow and a bus from there.
At your hotel, guesthouse or apartment in Zakopane. Buses and trains finish at the stations, about 1.3 km on foot from the lower end of Krupówki, the main street; with a transfer you skip that walk.
Yes, there is room for ski equipment. Child seats are available as well; ask for one when you book.
Buses from the MDA station next to Kraków Główny take roughly two hours. Trains take from 1 h 57 min on the fastest service to 4 h 6 min on the slowest regional one (sample day: 1 December 2026). Both cost less per person; the transfer saves the ride to the station and the walk at the other end, and four to eight people travel in one van. We were looking for something to do during a company team trip for more than a dozen people and found YourKrakow. Honestly, with that many participants I expected a bit of chaos, but the organisation was genuinely smooth. We had several carts, split into groups and explored Kraków along different routes. At the end we all met up at Wawel. A great way to see the city, especially with a bigger group. Many of us called it the best part of the whole trip.

We highly recommend this electric golf cart tour of Kraków! We booked it for a hen party and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. The ride was enjoyable from start to finish and let us see some of the most beautiful landmarks in the city and learn plenty about Kraków.
